Position of the Conference

International summit forum will assemble entrepreneurs, scientists, and educationists to discuss cross-border exploration on the prospective issues of promoting learning revolution and leading the development of society.



Background

The fourth industrial revolution has initiated groundbreaking development in Artificial Intelligence, Robot, Internet of Things, Self-driving Vehicles, 3-D Printing, Biotechnology, Energy Storage, Quantum Computation etc. Existing business mode has been significantly subverted, and the system of production, consumption, conveyance, and delivery has been reshaping effectively, providing infinite possibilities for innovation and entrepreneurship on the basis of knowledge and professional skills. Under this background, as expected, revolutionary transforming will be brought to learning style of human.

Accompanied by rapid development of science and technology, the arrival of new era of globalization, intellectualization, and individuation has pressed the future talents with unprecedented demands that challenge the pillars of traditional education.However,the normality of online learning, self-directed learning, and AI-guided learning has the opportunity to realize the ideal of educating all people without discrimination and teaching students in accordance with their aptitude.

Along with the wide application of brain imagingin cognitive science research, understanding on intelligence has been constantly updated. AI Technology dramatically advances with each passing day based on rapid development of computer science. The rising of both above trends together strikes a deep chord in the heart of people for the people-oriented concept. Besides, the role of traditional education is gradually declining, resulting in fuzzy boundary among curriculum. Therefore, people-oriented transformation of learning is imperative and inevitable.

A burgeoning inter-discipline, Science of Intelligence, has emerged as cross-domain collaboration is acknowledged as the new front of learning, which is a composite of philosophy, brain science (neuroscience), psychology, pedagogy, computer science, and biomedical engineering. The focus of the filed concerns human intelligence, artificial intelligence, correlation between the nature and evolvement of intelligence, exploitation on intelligence, human-computer interaction of intelligence, machine intelligence, collective intelligence etc.

On the face of it, the world undergoes a crucial transformation that is impacting our life, thoughts, communication, and approaches to success. Due to the wake of Internet and Artificial Intelligence, corresponding “Learning Revolution” is fast approaching. In the future, we will see that people can learn whenever and wherever possible and pursue lifelong knowledge acquisition. The fundamental changes of learning content and method will take place owing to promotion of modern science and technology, constant revolution of learning ecosystem, successively appearing of MOOC, micro class, AI-guided learning system, and springing up of various learning communities and unions. As Jack Ma said, “In the next three decades, technology change will drive educational transformation and become the key factor for social change.” Traditional school education is no longer sufficient for the growing needs in learning and living, so that we should not only remold schooling systems but also the entire learning ecosystem. Future learning will achieve individuation and intellectualization, leading comprehensive development of human and social progress.


Objectives

On the theme of “Science of Intelligence and Learning Revolution”, plans are arranged to invite well-known scholars, industry leaders, policymakers, and front-line practitioner at home and abroad to discuss recent development trends and tendencies in the field of intelligence science and learning for sharing the latest progresses of intelligence science research around the world, as well as exploring new direction, paradigm, and characteristics of entrepreneurship education in various countries. In collaboration with inter-disciplinary experts in the field of pedagogy, psychology, brain science and artificial intelligence, learning mechanism and learning ecosystem in the era of internet and we-media. The conference will discuss how to promote cooperation of governments, enterprises, HEIs, and international organizations in innovative and entrepreneurial learning, in the hope of facilitating cross-domain interaction, research, and innovation adapting to learning environment among learners at different ages and in various fields. To the best, the wisdoms of all conference participants can accelerate the high quality development in entrepreneurial learning and intelligence learning industry, for realizing fair education in a more advantageous way and offering ideas and approaches for learning innovation and talent development in the future.
