We are pleased to announce that the 6th International Symposium on Atmospheric Light Scattering and Remote Sensing will be held in Zhejiang University(ZJU), Hangzhou, China, 2019.

The International Symposium on Atmospheric Light Scattering and Remote Sensing has been held successfully for five times(Xi'an, China, 2009; Lanzhou, China, 2011; Nagoya, Japan, 2013; Wuhan, China, 2015 and Hefei, China, 2017).The important academic platform for International Atmospheric Remote Sensing and Lidar has made positive academic and social repercussions at home and abroad. At the same time, NASA, European Space Agency (ESA), Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), Washington University, Utah University, State University of New York, Hampton University, National Institute of Environmental Studies, Nagoya University, Nagasaki University, Germany, Britain, France, Finland and other countries and regions, as well as universities, science research institutions at home and abroad have been attracted.

The atmospheric light scattering and radiation theory, active and passive remote sensing technology, ground-based Lidar detection technologies and methods and other hot issues of current concern in the field of remote sensing have been adhered since the conference has been held. Meanwhile, the advanced theory, new methods, the research and display of cutting-edge technology will be carried out.

 Symposium Topics

1、Light scattering and radiative transfer in the atmosphere
2、Active and passive remote sensing techniques
  3、In-situ measurements of atmospheric components
4、Cross-cutting and integrated observations of the atmosphere
5、Multi-wavelength lidar used in earth observations
6、The middle and upper atmosphere observations
7、Comprehensive remote sensing of atmosphere and ocean
